At Iron Maple Farm, our Gotland sheep are bred with care and purpose. We focus on producing healthy, well-structured animals with soft, lustrous fleece, calm temperaments, and excellent conformation. Whether you’re looking for breeding stock, fiber animals, or flock companions, our sheep are raised with hands-on attention and high standards.
Gotlands are known for their unique silvery-gray fleece, friendly and curious personalities, and strong maternal instincts. Our sheep are selected from quality genetics to maintain the integrity of this rare heritage breed in Canada.
What’s Included With An Iron Maple Gotland Sheep:
All sheep sold from Iron Maple Farm are:
- High percentage or North American Purebred Gotlands (registered or registerable with the American Gotland Sheep Society)
- Accustomed to regular handling
- Raised on pasture with rotational grazing and high-quality hay
- Vaccinated, dewormed (if needed), and up to date on hoof care
We are happy to work with both new and experienced shepherds, and we’ll provide ongoing support after purchase.

How To Reserve Sheep or Lambs
To reserve a Gotland lamb or adult, please complete our Reservation Application. Once we review your application, you will be required to send a deposit to reserve a sheep. Sheep are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to fiber and flock-building homes. We provide quality lambs and sheep that are sold as breeding stock, fiber animals and pets.
We welcome inquiries and are happy to help you choose animals that suit your goals.
